Rob's first adventure to Sri Lanka. Avrillé and I thought we would gently introduce both Michelle and he, to the local cusine. RC with all the brovado of an officer of the Raj, once again tackling the native life. We suggested he be careful and noted that Sri Lankan food is the spicest on the planet!! "Bah! I love a good Vindaloo!", and proceeded to fill his plate with curry and spice and all things nice. The first mouthful had his shirt soaked in sweat with his eyes both crossed and watering. We didn't have the heart to tell him.... this was merely tourist food.... the real stuff is hot!!
